The online course "English 3" focuses on the development of literary and rhetorical analysis skills, specifically for the writing of analytical essays. The course utilizes various literary works, such as "To Kill a Mockingbird," "The Sign of the Four," "The Tempest," and "It’s a Wonderful Life," as well as film, to explore themes of community, relationships, and teamwork. This full-year course offers an Honors option, which includes different assignments, more work, and increased difficulty. The Honors option has separate prerequisites and a distinct Readiness Assessment Test. This course is NCAA Approved and has CA A-G approval.
