About this Course

The CLRC's Elementary Greek 2 course is designed for students transitioning from elementary to middle school, typically aged 10 to 14. It caters to two types of students: those who have completed Elementary Greek 1 and are seeking further instruction, and beginners aged 11 and above with no prior Greek knowledge. The course commences by revisiting materials from Elementary Greek 1 at an accelerated pace, then delves into additional grammar structures like adjectives, verb imperative and infinitive forms, and more complex grammar aspects. Students also expand their Greek vocabulary, engage in conversational practice, and receive written translation exercises. Although the primary focus is on the Greek language, students are also introduced to Greek mythology, history, and geography.
