Digital Ethics and Citizenship

The course, "Digital Ethics and Citizenship," is a semester-long, fully online program that focuses on teaching students safe and responsible navigation of the digital world. Students will develop skills in digital citizenship and online privacy management, while fostering respectful online communication. Key learning methods include hands-on activities, real-life case studies, and collaborative discussions. Students will create a Digital Citizenship Action Plan to improve personal digital habits and promote positive online practices in their communities. The course is designed to appeal to a wide range of students, from those inclined towards STEM fields to those pursuing humanities or social sciences, and requires basic computer proficiency and online software knowledge. There are no prior specific course or technology experience prerequisites.
