About this Course

This online course is a unique interdisciplinary learning experience centered around C.S. Lewis's popular Narnia series. Over the course of a year, students will engage with the first three books along with other selected readings, approaching the material from multiple angles—literature, theology, and personal reflection. Key aspects include analyzing characters and plots for life lessons, exploring Lewis's own journey and faith, and discussing how beliefs and behaviors influence each other. The course encourages personal growth by having students choose and cultivate specific virtues in daily life, guided by biblical scriptures and spiritual practices. It aims to be interactive, reflective, and engaging, uncovering real-life truths through the lens of Lewis's imagination and literature. Note that this course does not focus on writing instruction.
