Creative Writing Club

This online club, meeting once a month, is designed for students who are interested in creative writing or enjoy good stories. Led by a student with experience in writing novels and editing for a literary magazine, the club aims to create a space for learning and discussion of various subsects of creative writing. Members can expect to expand their knowledge through presentations, games, writing prompts, and other activities. While at least an 8th grade level of standard writing and English grammar skills is required, no formal creative writing skills are needed. Kind feedback, participation, and a willingness to learn are expected from all members.

The club's student leader, Rowan Manley, will share her expertise in creative writing and European history. Members will have access to varied resources and monthly writing prompts to help them stretch their newfound knowledge. The club will also cover a new subsect of creative writing each month, providing members with a well-rounded understanding of the subject.
