Creative Writing

This online course focuses on the development of language skills, with an emphasis on creativity and communication. Students will have the opportunity to study and compose original works of poetry, memoir, fiction, and creative non-fiction. They will also analyze published writers' work to gain a deeper understanding of how meaning and pleasure are created for readers. The course will offer practice in various writing genres and provide opportunities for students to refine their creative voice.

In addition, the course includes peer critique and portfolio development. Students will receive feedback on their work and learn how to submit their writing for publication. Through this process, students will learn how to share and communicate their ideas effectively.
