Common Arts IIA | Fall

This online course, "Common Arts II", delves into a variety of practical skills and crafts, building upon the foundation laid in "Common Arts I". Without requiring prior experience in the first course, it explores diverse areas such as trade, navigation, materials working arts, fall agriculture projects, military history, self-defense, conflict de-escalation, and situational awareness. The course employs a methodology based on GOST (goals, objectives, strategy, and tactics) and apprenticeship to teach these skills.

The ultimate aim of "Common Arts II" is to connect the liberal arts of language and mathematics with tangible, physical actions. By engaging in these practical arts, students are encouraged to appreciate the goodness, truth, and beauty of God's creation and providence, fostering a deeper understanding of the world and their place in it.
