College App Essay: Long Answer

The College App Essay: Long Answer online workshop is a course designed to help homeschooled seniors create a compelling college application essay for the 2023-24 admissions cycle. The course is taught by Maya Inspektor, who has extensive experience teaching AP English and admissions essay workshops. The curriculum covers the purpose of college application essays, how to strengthen writing while cutting words, and how to shine through essays by conveying a unique persona. Students will receive extensive feedback on multiple drafts of their essay and are expected to complete work every weekday. The course is non-graded and will not appear on any official transcript. It is aimed at rising seniors who will be applying to college in the fall and will cover topics relevant to homeschooled applicants. The course costs $200 and will run for three weeks during the summer of 2024.
