About this Course

The Homeschool Academic Cohort program is a support system designed to assist high school students in their course planning and career preparation. The program includes regular meetings with advisors to plan course schedules, discuss graduation requirements, and make adjustments based on students' needs and goals. This program is ideal for homeschooled students planning to apply for university studies, as it provides an accredited transcript to supplement their homeschool transcript.

Students in the cohort program are required to take four core courses (Writing, Math, Science, and History and/or Literature) and one elective course (World Language, Fine Arts, or Health/PE) each year. The program spans the entirety of high school, with students able to join during the spring or summer before ninth grade. Students are responsible for reading the Story of the World history series before the start of ninth grade to provide a foundation in global history.
