Chemistry Lab

This is a one-semester course that delves into the study of chemistry through hands-on laboratory experiences. Students will perform experiments related to a variety of chemistry topics, such as ideal gas properties, chemical reactions, solubility and pH, and thermochemistry. The course emphasizes the experimental method, lab report writing, peer review, and presentation of lab results. The fall and spring semesters cover different material, so students are encouraged to take both semesters for a more comprehensive study of chemistry. However, registering for just the fall or spring semester is also an option based on transcript requirements. Algebra I is a prerequisite for this course.
