Career Exploration: Finding Your Future – Early Semester

The course offers a project-based, self-discovery learning experience for students. It involves creating an individual "Day-in-the-Life" video centered around a career field of each learner's choice. Students will analyze their own interests, strengths, and preferences to select a career field, which will serve as their project topic. Throughout the course, students will develop media literacy and research skills, practice narrative writing, and participate in guided peer reviews. The culmination of these skills will be the production of a multimedia digital video, enhancing students' understanding of themselves and their chosen career field. Additionally, this project can be a valuable addition to their learning portfolios.
