Career Exploration

In the Fall of 2025, high school students in 9th to 12th grade can enroll in the online course "Career Exploration" taught by Becky Lundgren, held on Mondays from 9:00 to 10:00 CST. This course is designed to help students navigate career paths by exploring their interests, values, and skills, and understanding the importance of transferable skills. Through self-assessments, research projects, and practical applications, students will create a personalized career plan and develop essential skills like résumé writing and interviewing. The course incorporates technology at various levels of the SAMR model for interactive activities such as virtual job shadows and discussions with industry professionals.

Required resources for the course include "Career Exploration" by Cheri Frame and adherence to the SAMR Model Application for technology integration.
