About this Course
This is a summary of the online course "British Literature," a year-long exploration of significant British writers and literary works. The course starts with Anglo-Saxon literature, covers various literary eras, and concludes with contemporary authors. Students will read from an anthology of great works and well-known novels, participate in weekly discussions, and complete comprehension-based questions and short essays. There are two creative projects, quizzes, and tests throughout the year. The Honors level course offers interpretative papers, additional essay assignments, and supplemental reading suggestions.
The course is suitable for students in grades 9-12, with no prerequisite literature course required. The course format is discussion-based and is delivered via Zoom.
