Biology

This online biology course is a comprehensive, full-year high school level program, designed to expose students to the intricacies of life and living organisms. Taught by Dr. Kristin Moon, the course material covers a wide range of topics, from the chemistry of life and cellular structure to natural selection and ecology, using live interactive classes, videos, and hands-on activities. Textbooks are optional, with supplementary reading materials suggested from specific sources. The course is divided into two sections, one held on Tuesdays from 9-10 AM CST and the other on Wednesdays from 11:30 AM -12:30 PM CST. Student performance will be assessed through class participation, weekly homework, and periodic exams.
