Biology

This online course is a comprehensive survey of high school Biology, using the Shepherd Science text. It covers a wide range of topics including the philosophy of science, cytology, biochemistry, genetics, plant function and physiology, animal kingdom diversity, human anatomy and physiology, ecology, and more. The course also delves into the origin of life from a biblical worldview and provides students with the tools to analyze and respond to naturalistic evolutionary theory. Lab exercises are included to help students visualize concepts and learn how to write technically correct lab reports, preparing them for upper-level science and college lab courses. This course is designed for high school students, but strong and motivated eighth-graders may also enroll.
