Biblical Hebrew II

"Biblical Hebrew II" is a continuation course for those who have completed "Biblical Hebrew I". Students will expand on their understanding of Hebrew grammar, vocabulary, and reading comprehension of passages from the Hebrew Bible and Old Testament. The course delves into the history and cultural significance of the Hebrew language, which has experienced a remarkable revival from a sacred language to a modern, spoken and written language in Israel. Taught live from Israel by Rabbi Fischer, the course is designed for students interested in Middle Eastern studies, critical languages, or those wishing to explore biblical and theological studies in-depth.

The course is part of the true North Academy and is equivalent to one high school credit. It complements other courses like 'Modern Hebrew', 'Biblical Feasts and Festivals', and 'Old Testament: From Adam to Nehemiah'. Students should have a copy of "The First Hebrew Primer" used in 'Hebrew I' for reference.
