Art 1 - Drawing 1

This online course is a studio class focused on training students to accurately draw from life, with an emphasis on developing the ability to see precisely. Through hands-on drawing projects, students will explore key components of Line, Space, Values/Modeling, Proportion, and Perspective drawing, incorporating traditional and non-traditional exercises. The course also covers formal rules of perspective and composition for greater visual impact. Teacher demonstrations, individual feedback, and group discussions will facilitate student learning. The course is suitable for learners of all levels, including both Art and non-Art majors, and is highly recommended as a prerequisite for advanced art courses in TPS.
