AP U.S. History

This online course offers a comprehensive study of American history, examining political, social, economic, cultural, diplomatic, and intellectual factors that have shaped the country's past and present. The course encourages critical thinking by having students analyze primary and secondary sources, make historical comparisons, and develop historical arguments. It also introduces seven themes that help students connect historical developments across different places and times. While the course uses a college-level text, it approaches influences and movements from a biblical worldview. This course prepares students for advanced history, political science, and social studies courses in college and specifically for the AP U.S. History exam. The course offers flexible scheduling options, with reduced or waived live class attendance if necessary.
