AP US Government (Michael Munson)

The AP® U.S. Government and Politics course, taught by Michael Munson for the 2024-2025 school year, is a full-year course designed to prepare students for the AP exam in May 2025. This college-level course focuses on the American political system, its interconnected parts, and the behaviors and attitudes that shape it. Students will analyze current and historical political events using political reasoning skills, and learn to construct enduring understandings and big ideas about American government and politics. The course is primarily asynchronous, with assignments and assessments completed on Google Classroom and one required weekly Zoom meeting. Students should be academically motivated and willing to commit 8-10 hours per week to the course. The tuition for early enrollment is $700, and $750 for regular enrollment.
