AP Spanish Literature and Culture

The AP Spanish Literature and Culture course, taught by Erin Weber, is a live, online course offered to high school juniors and seniors who are highly motivated and independent workers with a strong background in Spanish. This full-year course requires students to have a high level of proficiency in speaking, listening, reading, and writing, and it is recommended that students have taken AP Spanish Language & Culture before enrolling. The course will introduce students to various literary texts from Peninsular Spanish, Latin American, and U.S. Hispanic literature and will develop students' proficiencies in the three modes of interpretation, communication, and presentation. The course will also explore cultural, artistic, and linguistic connections and comparisons. The class will meet live once a week, and attendance is encouraged but not required. The tuition is $775 if paid by June 30 or $800 if enrolled after that date. This course will only be offered with an enrollment of 7+ students and includes a summer reading component.
