AP Spanish Language & Culture

The AP® Spanish Language & Culture online course, taught by Erin Weber, is designed for highly motivated, independent students in grades 10-12 who have completed at least four years of Spanish study. The course, aligned with the six themes of Families in Different Societies, The Influence of Language and Culture on Identity, Influences of Beauty and Art, How Science and Technology Affect Our Lives, Factors that Impact the Quality of Life, and Environmental, Political, and Societal Changes, aims to develop students' proficiency in reading, writing, listening, and speaking in Spanish. Students will interact through forum discussions, presentations, and live class sessions, with a weekly time commitment of 5-7 hours. The course will follow the 2024-2025 school year, with classes held on Wednesdays at 1:30 p.m. Eastern time, taking breaks for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and spring break. Tuition is $800 if paid after June 30 or $775 for early bird registration.
