About this Course

This online course combines the study of Macroeconomics and Microeconomics, preparing students for the corresponding AP exams. The course integrates both subjects to enhance understanding and reinforce related content. Macroeconomics examines national productivity, the Federal Reserve, and overall economic changes, while microeconomics focuses on the individual's role in a market society, including the impact of choices, government involvement, and competition. The curriculum aligns with AP standards and employs College Board resources, interactive online text materials, and teacher-led video lectures and live classes for discussion and problem-solving. Students can expect reading assignments, practice exercises, forum discussions, and AP practice exams.

Upon completion, the course grants two AP transcripts and credits. It is mandatory to finish the entire course to receive any credit, and students cannot take either semester separately. The course offers flexible scheduling, allowing reduced or waived live class attendance if necessary. This AP-certified course is also CA A-G approved.
