AP English Literature and Composition

The AP English Literature Syllabus is a live, online, graded course designed to prepare homeschool students for the AP English Literature exam. This CollegeBoard and NCAA approved course is intended for 10th, 11th, and 12th graders with a love of story and discussion. The course is structured to develop an ongoing love of writing and in-depth textual analysis, focusing on a wide variety of themes and styles from classic drama to satire and realism. The course is designed to help students master literary analysis concepts, vocabulary, and devices, as well as improve their essay writing skills. Weekly live meetings, interactive chats, regular student discussion, and in-depth written feedback on essay assignments are some of the key features of this course. This full-year course is taught by a teacher with a background in Creative Writing instruction.
