AP Calculus BC

This is a live online AP Calculus BC course designed for high school students looking to supplement their math skills or who are preparing for the AP exam. The instructor, Shin Yen, has a strong track record with 86% of her students earning a 5, and 96% earning a 4 or 5 on the AP Calculus exam in 2023. The course covers both AP Calculus AB and BC content over a year, and is taught at the pace of a two-semester college course. It is an asynchronous (text-based) class with one or two live teacher-led meetings each week: a live class led by the instructor and designed for active participation, and live office hours offered during exam weeks or by special request.

The course includes an ebook and access to WebAssign, a homework platform with interactive features such as Read It, Master It and Watch It links. Tuition is $875 and a digital resources fee of $65 is required. The class size is limited to 30 students, and it is designed for students with a very strong math background. The course will open in early June with a questionnaire and diagnostic assessment to help students gauge whether some additional summer prep will be helpful.
