About this Course

This is an online APĀ® Calculus BC course offered by teacher Linda Henderson for the 2024-2025 school year. The course is suitable for students who have a strong foundation in algebra, geometry, pre-calculus, and trigonometry, and who are self-motivated and disciplined. The course is divided into two semesters: the first covers the essential elements of differential and integral calculus, while the second explores advanced methods of integration, vectors, and polynomial approximations and series. The course content is housed in Canvas and includes written lessons and videos, with homework assignments, investigations, problem sets, and quizzes. Students will need a graphing calculator, high-speed internet access, and a textbook (Calculus: Early Transcendentals Single Variable, 12th edition, by Howard Anton, Irl Bivens, and Stephen Davis). Weekly office hours will be held via Zoom.
