AP Calculus AB

This online course is a comprehensive offering that covers the full curriculum of AB Calculus, along with specific preparation for the AP AB Calculus exam. Through the course, students will explore calculus using various techniques, including analytic, algebraic, numerical, graphical, and technological approaches. The course will delve into the limit and continuity of functions, derivatives, and integrals, while also providing opportunities for students to practice AP-style questions to familiarize themselves with the format and grading techniques of the exam. The teacher-led instruction strengthens weak areas, encourages collaborative problem-solving, and provides additional AP prep problems.

This course also offers flexible scheduling, allowing students to reduce or waive live class attendance in case of schedule or time zone conflicts. Upon course completion, students may apply for a college transcript from Belhaven University, which provides college credit that can be transferred to other colleges. This course is pre-approved for college credit (Belhaven MAT 207, 3 credits).
