AP Biology w\Lab

This is an online AP Biology course for the 2024-2025 school year, taught by Ivonne Heapy and offered through Mathsci Online. The course is designed to be equivalent to a first-year college-level biology course and will cover a wide range of topics, including chemistry review, water properties, proteins and enzymes, cells and cell energetics, heredity, molecular genetics, evolution, biotechnology, and biological systems. This course has a high expectation for students, with an emphasis on AP® Biology College Board Examination preparation. The last few weeks of the course will focus on AP® Biology Exam prep. The course fee is $70 for the course, with an additional fee of $70 for a Basic Lab Kit. Students should have a strong foundation in chemistry, algebra, and biology to be successful in this course.
