American Sign Language 2

This course, American Sign Language 2, builds upon the foundations of ASL 1. Over a full academic year, students will expand their ASL vocabulary, including adjectives, adverbs, and special focus on classifiers. They will also delve deeper into ASL grammar, reading signs, facial expressions, numbers, and Deaf culture. Semester projects involve creating introductions, exploring ASL interpretation of art, and researching Deaf history. Each class includes practice sessions, games, and quarterly conversations with native signers from ASLDeafined.
