Algebra Prep Camp (Pre-Algebra Review)

This online course is designed to review and strengthen pre-algebra skills in students. It is suitable for those who need a refresh of the subject before moving on to algebra, want to reinforce their prior math course, or wish to keep their math skills sharp over the summer. The course covers various topics such as operations with integers, order of operations, solving equations, ratios, proportions, coordinate systems, and foundational skills for factoring. Live teaching sessions are included to cover important concepts and provide in-class problem-solving opportunities, with student participation on the whiteboard.

The course is relaxed in attendance and assignments are optional, making it a great way to prepare for the next school year without adding too much pressure. Although individual assignments receive a grade and feedback, there is no final grade or credit for the course. It is not a prerequisite for any TPS course and does not provide placement approval for any math course.
