Algebra II
About this Course
This is a full-year course designed to build upon the foundational knowledge gained in Algebra I. Algebra II offers an in-depth review of all topics from Algebra I and advances them to a more challenging level. Major topics covered in this course include solving and graphing linear and quadratic equations, factoring, a variety of types of word problems, completing the square, solving simultaneous equations with fractions and decimals, complex roots of quadratic equations, solving systems of nonlinear equations, graphing and solving a system of equalities, exponential equations, and a review of key topics in statistics and probability. This course requires a prerequisite of Algebra I, and students from other programs must complete the Saxon Placement Test before enrolling.
