Algebra I

The course, Algebra I, is designed for high school students as a foundational math class. It builds upon students' understanding of linear relationships, comparing them with exponential and quadratic functions. Key skills include applying linear models to data with linear trends, summarizing, and interpreting data on a single variable. The course uses a blended learning approach in partnership with CTC Math, an award-winning computer-based program. Students access videos and worksheets throughout the week, with a weekly class meeting to engage in math games, deepen understanding, and preview upcoming lessons. The teacher provides support through answering questions and assisting with challenging concepts.
