Algebra 2

This live online Algebra 2 course is designed for homeschooled and independent students in grades 9-12 who have successfully completed Algebra I and Geometry. The course is college preparatory and covers all main concepts required for a high school credit in Algebra 2. The course is delivered through two live sessions per week, with an additional 5-7 hours of work expected outside of class time. Students will engage in a multi-dimensional approach to learning mathematical language and problem-solving, incorporating technology such as calculators and spreadsheets.

Topics covered in the course include functions, matrix operations and transformations, solving systems of equations and inequalities, trigonometry, conic sections, and probability and series. The honors level of the course is designed for students interested in STEM fields, with additional projects, assignments, and cumulative tests. Prerequisites for the course are Algebra 1 and Geometry, and instructor approval is required.
