Advanced Honors Chemistry (w. lab)

The Online Advanced Honors Chemistry course, taught by Connie Schwartz, is designed for homeschooled students in 9th to 12th grade who have completed Honors Algebra 1 with a B+ or higher and have strong study skills. This full-year course is rigorous and moves quickly, with a time commitment of approximately 10-12 hours per week. The course covers standard introductory chemistry topics, as well as organic chemistry and biochemistry, providing a solid foundation for further study in chemistry. The course is taught through a combination of textbook readings and pre-recorded video lectures, with homework assignments, unit/chapter tests, and labs for assessment. There are also optional live "office hour" sessions available for student questions. The course follows a set schedule with due dates for each chapter block and set start and end dates.
