Advanced German

Advanced German is a full-year high school course (Fall 2025 - Spring 2026) designed for students who have completed two years of German 3/4. Taught by instructor Dana Hanley and meeting twice a week, the course targets intermediate-level communication (B1 on CEFR scale), focusing on themes of family, community, science, and technology. Students engage in project-based learning, including writing reviews and designing concept hotels, and explore German culture through authentic materials. The course also incorporates a unique virtual exchange program with German high school students.
