6th Grade Math
About this Course
This course focuses on the content of the Rod & Staff 6th Grade textbook, ideal for advanced 5th graders and students up to 7th grade (ages 10-13). It provides a comprehensive review and strengthening of arithmetic concepts such as numbers, fractions, decimals, percents, measures, basic geometry, and graphs, preparing students for pre-algebra. The curriculum is systematically presented with ample review time, and assessments including homework, quizzes, and tests are submitted via scanning and uploading, ensuring personal feedback and limiting technical issues.
The course requires the Rod and Staff Sixth Grade Set and a USB headset or a device with a built-in microphone. A suitable scanner or the ability to convert phone pictures to PDF documents is also necessary for submitting assignments. Students are encouraged to use a tablet or stylus for solving problems, although these are not mandatory.
